Shaggy's Barber Shop, Inc. was established in September of 2006. The grand opening was Sept 20th, 2006 and revieled a extremely large clientel base that continues to grow. Shaggy's Is a family Barbershop with services for men, women and children. Primarily for men but also for women that include perms, color, cuts, styles and waxing. There is a FREE consultation so PICK UP THAT PHONE and call !!!! The shop has new equipment and the vaccum system for a clean cut with a great atmosphere.
For those that are curious about the shops name "Shaggy's" . It was taken from the owners pet and applied to the business name front and there for the shops Mascot.
Shaggy is a white and brown SHIH-TZU. He turned a year old in August of 2006. Shaggy is AKC registered and his AKC titled name is LITTLE MAN SHAGGY. Shaggy is well behaved and loves people as most lap dogs do!! But we insist that all prents supervise there child while petting Shaggy because like any animal his only defense is to bite if he is treated badly!!
The Owner
Terry started barbering in 2006 after surviving a truck wreck and a serious back injury. He attended Bailey's Barber College while healing from a low back fusion and bone graft. Terry started Barber College in February of 2005 and graduated in December of 2005.
Terry worked in barbershops in the Lexington area while completing his nine month apprenticeship and decided it was time to work for himself instead of someone else for a change.
